Stress less this silly season

stress

It’s called the silly season for a reason. Running round the mall getting presents, finishing off those end of year jobs at work and keeping the whole family happy can leave you pretty stressed out.
Stress is the body’s way of letting you know that a potentially dangerous situation might arise. It’s natural. We’re all born with an instinctive stress response. Stress can be useful and the small burst of energy it gives you can help with memory and motivation. But most of the time we don’t use stress in emergencies, we live at such a pace and have so much on our mind around Christmas time that we’re activating our stress hormones far too often. Stress becomes negative and can build harmful tension and strain on your body.
At Red Seal we have a range of products that’ll help you keep your cool when the going gets tough this Christmas. It’s definitely worth having a few of these around the house:

A few more tips
Take some alone time. Often all you need is a sit down by yourself with a cup of tea or a book.
Make sure you’re not doing it all yourself. Get people to help out where you can, nobody minds lending a hand.
Be well prepared. When you’re organising a party or event make sure you’re well prepared a few weeks out to avoid stress closer to the date.
